Message	near the middle (from my experience) then set your timing to 15 degrees. Do what Audioquest said with the Coolant Temp Sensor. Basically there are numerous things to look over here regarding your issue. Basic things like fuel & air filters, spark plugs, fuel pressure regulator and fuel dampener, all that fun stuff. About the psssshhht when releasing your gas cap, if it doesn't always do that, you simply need a new gas cap. I'd also check your oxygen sensors, if they are close to toast they can make your car run like ass.
